Remastering and Completing Old Demos

We (Nothing But Sky) hope to release very soon, on Spotify, a collection of remastered studio tracks. With the advancement of mastering software, we believe the tracks will pop a little better. Most of the original studio tracks were recorded analog in 1992.

Currently, two tracks ("Blue-Eyed Happy Girl" and "Guilt By Association") will get occasional play on WQFS (90.9FM Guilford College, Greensboro, North Carolina) on the North Carolina Music show. I've noticed they don't seem to be as "radio friendly" as other tracks. They don't seem to have that crisp boom we'd like for radio play.

Elsewhere, I have been working with production software to finalize demos covering decades. It has given me a chance to finalize and even rewrite lyrics. One track is a song that Nothing But Sky performed early on with the music co-written by myself and Branon ("Why Did I Fight"). It was sung by Branon in those days. The rewrite has allowed me to tweak the lyrics and add my own vocal.

I've created two collections. The first (Fables of Love) is loosely a collection of love and love-lost songs. The second (On the Brink) is a mixture of tracks covering various emotions and topics. Track order has not been determined as of this writing.
